Hello--In my cards just ran across a card my daughter sent to me (2003) with a copy of your Mothers & Daughters story. Kathy wrote "Just thinking about you today and thought you would enjoy reading a couple of Mother's Day stories. The first one is very befitting--I don't think you will ever know how much your being there has meant to me--I'm sure it made this whole ordeal much easier to bear." What a wonderful relationship you also have with your Mother. My beautiful, precious Kathleen (Kathy) passed 12/12/10. Missing Kathy so much but remembering all the times we spent together. Just watched your interview on KCAL9 in LA. And I totally agree that at that over 50 point in life you should enjoy life with each day. I've returned to college to get my degree. And it gives me a reason to continue moving forward. Love the book. It's sad meeting those my age that are of the mind set that life is over and it would be better to die than to live to get too much older.

Congrats Patty! I've been meaning to order your book earlier; however, things have been quite hectic in Virginia Beach at Mom's with back-and-forth visits,etc.
